Title: Driver Recruiter – Field Based


Position Summary: Achieves staffing objectives by field based recruiting and evaluating job candidates.



Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans. Meeting with manager to discuss needs.

Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications.

Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, comparing qualifications to requirements.

Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and qualifications with managers. Interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.

Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation.

Other duties as assigned.


Requirements and Education:

High School Diploma 

Experience with recruiting

Proven candidate sourcing skills

Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows Environment

Effective oral and written communication skills

General knowledge of various employment laws and practices

Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills

Ability to work with various departments

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Able to read, write and speak English

Able to work under stressful conditions at times

Strong work ethics, honesty, and striving for excellence in all activities.

Using logic and reasoning to identify the strength and weaknesses to alternate solutions
